My name is Cimran Jassal, I am a UX designer and storyteller, originally from the United Kingdom but raised in Vancouver, Canada. I developed a fascination with human behaviour, design and the power of storytelling from an early age. This led me to a career in film & television working in the set design department.

 

After paying my dues and working in the industry for a few years I knew there was a way to better impact people's lives. This led me to the field of UX design. My passion for understanding people's motivations and behaviours, combined with a desire to solve real-world problems through design, led me to pursue a career in this dynamic field.

 

Through UX I want to create compelling and effective designs that improve the user experience and positively impact the lives of others. I am always looking for new ways to innovate and improve, and am constantly inspired by the power of design to shape the world around us.

 

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring my hands-on creative side through hobbies such as crocheting, knitting, and 35mm film photography. I find joy in the process of making and creating something with my own two hands!
